Privacy and Security
Security and privacy are a priority in everything Sapience does. The Sapience platform is SOC-2 compliant (NIST-based controls) and has received an e-Privacy certification that ensures compliance with EU privacy laws.
What We Collect
Our solution collects active window metadata, including an application’s name and version, URL (top-level domain, and window title only), and time-stamped physical device interactions, (including keyboard and mouse engagement).
Privacy First
Our data collector uses TLS 1.2 protocol. Each client’s data is stored in its own encrypted database in a dedicated Microsoft Azure US-based tenant.
Sapience utilizes a role-based permission model. By default, managers can only access data from users in their reporting organization and users can only see their own personal data. Access to reports is limited to individuals who have been allotted credentials.
What We Don’t Collect
Sapience DOES NOT collect any of the following:
- User credentials;
- Personally identifiable information (PII);
- Screen-scraping information;
- Screenshots;
- Individual keystrokes;
- Mouse click data;
- Camera captures;
- Video captures.
Sapience DOES NOT sell nor make available any client data to any individual, company or third-party.
