We are responsible for our people, society and environment.
Last year we partnered with Minnie’s Pantry in our local community and volunteered on-site as a team to sort food donations and prepare meal boxes. We also sponsored Minnie’s with a financial contribution to aid during their busiest seasons – Thanksgiving and Christmas. The pandemic has had a great impact on communities and families all around us. Minnie’s has witnessed it firsthand with a continuing increase in those needing assistance. The demands for food far exceed the supply and monetary support is dwindling due to the economic challenges individuals and businesses are facing.
The Khadakwasla Dam is the water source of Pune city. The banks of the dam continuously need protection and reservation with more plants. As a return gift to mother nature, we planted 10k plants on the banks. Still our ‘We Care’ team is working with the local bodies to grow the plants with care. Here are some glimpses:
An NGO approached us to be a part of greater e-learning initiative to help under privileged students during the pandemic. Out of 1000 students, 400+ couldn’t afford laptops or smartphones to learn online. We distributed 60+ assets and some inventory among the children without giving a second thought. Both teachers and students can conduct online workshops and classes with these assets. This was a successful initiative for young girls in our community.
